Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Dietetic Technician to join our Nutrition Services team in Washington. You will ensure patients and families receive excellent nutritional care and counseling, contributing to positive health outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include evaluating dietary needs, creating care plans, and collaborating with others to deliver high-quality service in a per diem, day-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date.
• Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets ADA standards.
• Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire.
• BA or BS in related field with Director/Clinical Nutrition Manager approval of transcripts.
• Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card.
• Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred.

The Dietetic Technician is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.

Requirements

• Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date.
• Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets the educational standards established by the ADA.
• Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire.
• BA or BS in related field with Director’s/Clinical Nutrition Manager’s approval of transcripts.
• Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card.
• Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.73 - $42.52 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
