Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's Gracie Square affiliation seeks a Dietary Worker to support Food Nutrition Services. In this part-time day role (30 hours/week) you will help prepare cold meals, assemble trays, and deliver patient trays in accordance with hospital protocols while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment.

You'll provide exceptional patient and family service, fostering compassion, care and safety in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• Preferred: Prior food service experience.

Dietary Worker -Food Nutrition Services - Part-time Days (includes working every weekend)

Join our team as a Dietary Worker, where you’ll play a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations and enhancing the patient experience. In this role, you will assist with preparing cold meals, tray assembly and deliver patient trays in accordance with hospital protocols, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment. As a valued team member, you will provide excellent customer service to patients and their families while helping to foster a culture of compassion, care, and safety—ensuring a positive experience for every patient, every time.

This is a part-time day position (30 hours per week) and requires working every weekend
