Job summary

Excelcare Health Management's Newark facility is seeking a dedicated Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and guide dietary staff. You will ensure safe, high-quality meal service for residents with a focus on nutrition and compliance.

You will supervise scheduling, monitor food preparation, assist with menu planning, conduct inspections, and train new staff while collaborating with nursing to meet resident needs. A ServSafe background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and dietary guidelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
