Job summary

The Guthrie Clinic in Towanda, PA is seeking a Dietary Student Aide to support patient meal service and hospital dining operations. You will assist with tray assembly, food prep, and delivering meals to patient floors in a timely manner.

No prior experience is required, but you must be at least sixteen years old and able to read, write, and understand written and oral communication. You will follow department policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares assembly line station for patient supper tray service in a timely manner.
• Assembles food items for supper patient tray service according to marked menus.
• Transports supper food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner.
• Collects all garbage in Dietary and Cafeteria areas and transports to compactor/incinerator in a timely manner.
• Scrapes and washes all dishware from patient trays and employee cafeteria according to department sanitation procedures.
• Scrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and organizes in designated area.
• Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
• Provide the best room service has to offer
