Job summary

Eastern Health Group seeks a Culinary Service Manager to oversee the Dietary Department, including staffing, food orders, preparation, delivery and cleanup in line with facility policies and resident care plans.

The role requires RD/ Diet Technician/CDM credentials with 3+ years of related experience and 1–2 years of supervisory work. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success within our team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years related experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, food ordering, preparation, delivery and cleanup in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance resident care and workflow.
• Hire, train, coach and develop department staff as needed.
• Ensure fair employment practices under federal, state and local law.
• Plan menus with dietary guidance to meet nutritional standards.
