Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Dietary Services Aide to support meal preparation, service, and sanitation in our Skilled Nursing community. The role emphasizes accurate, timely meal service and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

You will assist with food prep, serve meals, and help keep the kitchen and dining area sanitary while following dietary guidelines and Americare’s standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions safely and efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events and activities.
• Attend and serve food during in-service or staff meetings as requested.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions.
• Set and clear tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices.
• Support Americare’s mission and values in daily tasks.
