Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Services Aide to assist with food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation in a Skilled Nursing community. You will help deliver quality meals and warm hospitality to residents, while following dietary guidelines and Americare’s standards of care.

The role supports resident satisfaction through teamwork, attention to detail, and a service-focused mindset. Training, a friendly team, and opportunities for growth are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions safely and efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation for residents and staff, including events.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment; maintain sanitary conditions.
• Set and clear tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen and dining area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and infection control practices.
• Support the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
