Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Eureka is seeking a dependable Dietary Services Aide for our skilled nursing community. You will assist with meal prep, service, and sanitation, ensuring residents receive timely, accurate dining experiences in a clean and welcoming kitchen.

The role supports resident satisfaction through teamwork, attention to detail, and a service mindset. Prior food service experience is helpful, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Commitment to resident confidentiality and professionalism; HIPAA/OSHA compliance

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events and activities
• Attend and serve food during in-service or staff meetings as requested
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions
• Set and clear tables before and after meals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices
• Adhere to Americare’s Mission, Vision, Hometown Hospitality, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. values
• Support the dietary team with additional duties as assigned
