About the Dietary Aide Role

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting the Food Service Manager and Dietary Staff with the preparation, serving, and distribution of meals to our residents. This may include tasks such as:

• Preparing meals and snacks according to standardized menus
• Assisting with food preparation, plating, and presentation
• Servicing food to residents in the dining room or to their rooms
• Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
• Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Interacting with residents, families, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
