College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a purchasing professional to oversee all purchasing and receiving of foods for the kitchen, coordinating with the Director of Dietary to ensure inventory, budgeting, and regulatory storage compliance.

You will manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, receive shipments, maintain logs, and uphold par levels to support safe, efficient operations. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Competenze

• Experience with ordering food products for a high volume kitchen operation
• Food Handlers Card
• Fingerprint Card
• Availability to work weekends and holidays

• Responsible for all purchasing and receiving of products to the kitchen
• Works with Director of Dietary to manage inventory, purchases, budget of department, and regulatory requirements of storage areas
• Will take inventory and submit orders for US Foods, Produce, and all vendors under supervision of dietary leadership
• Will receive all orders, check for food quality, manage receiving logs, and invoices
• Will store all orders away using established system for food storage
• Responsible for filling out all kitchen logs, unit temperature logs, and receiving logs
• Will manage par levels of product for better inventory rotation and quality

Job Summary:

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
