Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dedicated purchasing and receiving coordinator for its kitchen operations. You will manage all food product orders, receive deliveries, and partner with the Dietetic leadership to control inventory, budget, and regulatory storage practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors (US Foods, Produce, and others), verifying quality, maintaining logs, and ensuring proper par levels to optimize freshness and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience with ordering food products for a high volume kitchen operation.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Fingerprint Card required.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

• Work with Director of Dietary to manage inventory, purchases, budget, and regulatory storage requirements.
• Take inventory and submit orders for US Foods, Produce, and all vendors under supervision of dietary leadership.
• Receive all orders, check food quality, manage receiving logs and invoices.
• Store all orders using established food storage system.
• Fill out kitchen, unit temperature, and receiving logs.
• Manage par levels of product for inventory rotation and quality.

Job Summary

• Will take inventory and submit orders for US Foods, Produce, and all vendors under supervision of dietary leadership.
• Will receive all orders, check for food quality, manage receiving logs, and invoices.
• Will store all orders away using established system for food storage
• Responsible for filling out all kitchen logs, unit temperature logs, and receiving logs.
• Will manage par levels of product for better inventory rotation and quality.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
