Job summary

Icare-Health-Network is seeking a Dietary Manager to supervise a dietary team and direct daily operations of the Diet Department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role focuses on delivering quality nutritional services to residents and maintaining high food-safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in dietetics or food service management or related field.
• Experience supervising dietary staff.
• Knowledge of QA/Improvement processes and regulatory surveys.
• ServeSafe certification completed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dietary staff and ensure accountability to standards.
• Ensure healthy and nutritious food selections for residents.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety at all times.
• Provide training and development to dietary staff (meal planning, preparation, sanitation).
• Plan and manage creative menus and variety of meals.
• Ensure kitchen stocked with food, supplies, and equipment.
• Operate kitchen in a clean, safe, sanitary manner.
