Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled Dietary Services Manager to lead the nutrition program for residents. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliant nutrition care, and supervise dietary staff, coordinating with the Registered Dietitian and administrator.

Responsibilities include menu planning, purchasing, budgeting, and maintaining regulatory standards while prioritizing resident preferences and safe food handling. Full-time, onsite position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be certified within 12 months of hire and work with you toward completion.
• Experience leading dietary operations and supervising nutrition staff.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local nutrition regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition services in the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident needs are met.
• Coordinate nutrition care under the direction of the Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchasing using forecasts, inventory, and vendor contacts; manage budgets.
• Develop menus, adjust for resident preferences, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain resident nutrition data in eKardex and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and physician orders; schedule staff coverage.
• Complete required MDS sections and contribute to care plan development.
