Job summary

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Eau Claire is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the hospital's Food Service Department, ensuring high-quality meal preparation and service aligned with patient nutrition needs.

The role collaborates closely with the Dietitian, oversees inventory and staffing, and enforces infection prevention and safety standards across the department. Two years of hospital dietary experience and a Dietary Management certification are required or preferred based on state rules.

Qualifications

• Two years' direct dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical facility required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Current state certification in Dietary Management is required in KS, TX. Preferred in all other states.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient's nutrition status in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and Dietitian.
• Establish and implement food service production and service procedures for timely meals.
• Direct functions of the Dietary Services Department and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage inventory control, purchasing of food, supplies and equipment.
• Monitor infection prevention and quality related to patient nutrition care.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality and provide staff training as assigned.
