Job summary

Unidine in Prairie Village, KS is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the dining services team and ensure excellent patient and resident meal experiences. You will manage dining operations, help plan menus with the Chef, and partner with clinical teams to meet dietary needs while upholding sanitation and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes strong service orientation, experience in healthcare dining, and collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality dining programs in a facility

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food service supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare dining, restaurants, hotels, or related operations.
• Healthcare or senior living dining experience preferred.
• Experience with resident/patient meal service, sanitation and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Catering, restaurant-style dining, and/or tableside service experience preferred.
• General hospitality knowledge with a strong service orientation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred where applicable.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services operations of a small to medium-volume location.
• Interact with residents, patients, guests, and customers to resolve concerns.
• Assist with budgeting, labor and other financial responsibilities as they pertain to the account.
• Collaborate with the Chef and management to create menus and maintain high quality food and service.
• Support food service activities including specialized diets and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and healthcare requirements.
