Job summary

Caring Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Services Manager to oversee the food operations for residents in our facility.

You will supervise food service personnel, coordinate with a clinical dietician, and ensure proper documentation of dietary intake and weights for residents. The role focuses on managing meal production, adjusting quantities for nutritional needs, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation within the dining room and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Meets new resident and family for individual dietary information.
• Participates and supervises preparation and serving of food to residents.
• Makes adjustments in quantity and content of meal to accommodate different nutritional requirements.
• Inspects quantity, quality, temperature, and appearance of food before it is served.
• Notes leftover food on plates to determine more acceptable types of food.
• Inspects food, supplies, and equipment.

Job description

Manages food operations of the facility for all residents which includes the management of food service personnel, food supplies, kitchen equipment, food production, and routine nutritional aspects of the food services. Assures proper documentation of weights, intakes and any other dietary resident issues. Utilizes the services of a clinical dietician to assist in management of the dietary department.
