Job summary

Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the dining program for residents in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

The role requires overseeing menu development, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring timely service while maintaining high sanitation standards. A Dietary Manager certification or an Associate degree in food service is preferred, with strong communication skills and dedication to resident care.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent degree required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain nutritious menus for residents in a Skilled Nursing setting.

Position: Dietary Manager

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM - 4:30PM

We are seeking a full-time Director of Dining Services to join our team of excellent resident care.

The successful candidate for the role of Director of Dining Services will be a talented and motivated Dietary Manager with compassion, and a desire to provide the best nutritious meals for our residents.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain nutritious menus for residents, with an understanding of clinical aspects related to food in the Skilled Nursing environment
• Manage staff in the kitchen environment
• Schedule staff for proper service to residents in a timely fashion
• Ordering kitchen supplies as needed
• Oversee and ensure the cleanness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas

Are You

• Customer service orientated
• Certified as a Dietary Manager or possess at least an Associates degree in food service or Culinary Arts
• Experienced in long-term care preferred
• Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
• Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
