Aramark SeniorLife+ is redefining dining in senior living and seeks a Food Service Manager/Dietary Manager to lead teams delivering high-quality resident dining in a healthcare setting.

You will oversee daily dining operations alongside the Food Service Director, drive regulatory compliance, and champion a culture of teamwork and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CDM credential is required for the role.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in food service, healthcare, senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining operation with the Food Service Director to ensure service excellence and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop culinary and dining team members.
• Maintain high quality, safe meals and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Monitor food, labor, and inventory costs to support financial goals.
• Partner with community leadership to continuously improve resident dining experiences.
• Maintain sanitation standards and survey readiness.

Job Responsibilities

As the Food Service Manager/Dietary Manager, you'll oversee the daily dining operation while partnering closely with the FoodService Director to ensure exceptional service, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

• Lead, coach, and develop culinary and dining team members
• Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and resident satisfaction
• Ensure meals are prepared and served safely while maintaining the highest quality standards
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and company food safety regulations
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
• Monitor food, labor, and inventory costs while supporting financial goals
• Partner with community leadership to continuously improve the resident dining experience
• Maintain sanitation standards and ensure survey readiness

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in food service, healthcare, senior living, long-term care,rehabilitation, or hospital
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare dining
• Experience with budgeting, inventory, labor management, and cost controls
• Experience preparing for state surveys and maintaining regulatory compliance
