You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and service of meals for our patients, residents, and staff. You will work closely with the food service team to ensure that high-quality meals are consistently delivered to meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers. Your expertise will also be vital in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a safe and healthy food environment.
Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, production, and service
Supervise, train, and mentor dietary staff to ensure exceptional service and food quality
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, including food safety, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines
Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients, residents, and staff
Conduct inventory management and control of food, supplies, and equipment
Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, to ensure patient care and satisfaction
Maintain accurate records and reports of dietary operations, including food production, waste, and inventory
Experience in dietary management or a related field
Knowledge of food service management principles, food safety guidelines, and nutrition standards
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train dietary staff
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
