Base pay range

Dietary Cook - Essential Functions:

• Prepare food to be served to our patients.
• Provide meal service to residents and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas.
• Prepare and serve residents, ensuring all dietary needs are met, including texture-modified foods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and dishes, discard leftovers, and empty trash.
• Follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, trainings, and meetings.

Requirements:

• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read.
• Meet physical demands: stand, sit, walk extended periods, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
