Job summary

Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Cook to join the culinary team and prepare meals for residents and families, ensuring correct diet orders are followed. The cook leads dining services staff when managers are absent and is paid $18.00-$22.00 per hour.

This role requires experience in food service, a minimum of 2 years cooking, and a Food Handler Certification. Regular duties include meal prep, timely shift execution, and maintaining clean, safe kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is required.
• Minimum 2 years cook experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is/will be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all meals according to the recipes.
• Demonstrates leadership and starts/finishes shifts on time.
• Produces appetizing presentations and adheres to dietary orders.
• Maintains safety and sanitary regulations in storage, handling and serving.
