AVIR Health Group seeks a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family and support resident nutrition needs. The role focuses on preparing high-quality foods for regular and modified diets while complying with state health regulations and facility standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in health care food service is preferred.
• Experience with modified diets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
