Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family-oriented team in Texas. The role focuses on resident nutrition and sustaining a safe, caring dining environment for residents in our facility.

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, reliable, and capable of working with healthcare dietary requirements. We welcome applicants who are committed to high-quality food service and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
