What you will do in this role:

• This position is officially titled a Dietary Cook, but in some centers it may be called a Line Cook or entry-level Chef.

As a cook, you will prepare meals for our patients, which may include menu creation, collaborating with our Registered Dietitian on special diets, maintaining kitchen sanitation, and ensuring food safety. Your daily tasks might range from cleaning out the freezer to engaging with patients about their meal preferences.

We wear many hats and do whatever is needed to meet the nutritional needs of the patients.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a dietary aide, cook, or in a central kitchen is required.
• Knowledge of quality food production, service techniques, and food safety/sanitation procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and criminal background check.
