Job summary

Copperfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Dietary Cook to prepare meals per menus, adjust diets per Nursing Services, and handle related administrative tasks. The role requires coordinating production lines and maintaining timely service in a post-acute care setting.

Active kitchen experience in large quantities is essential, with ability to follow recipes and diet restrictions, while working well with the care team to meet residents' nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services.
• Assist in establishing food service production line and ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
