Job summary

Copperfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Houston, TX is hiring a Full-time Dietary Cook for AM or PM shifts. You will prepare meals according to planned menus and dietary restrictions, while coordinating with Nursing Services and other departments to meet residents' needs.

• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.

Shift: Full-time AM or PM

Essential Functions:

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.


• Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.


• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services.


• Assist in establishing food service production line and ensure meals are prepared on time.


• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.

Qualifications:

• Cooking experience in large quantities is required
