Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting, following prescribed diet specifications and food safety guidelines. You will work under the Food Service Director and support a healthy, compassionate dining experience for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of food safety and sanitation, and state-specified food-handler training.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state-specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and community procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies.
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
