Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our nursing care team in Mission Valley, TX. The role focuses on preparing nutritious, appetizing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and physician orders, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and proper food storage.
• Assist with inventory and communicate needs to dietary leadership.
