Job summary

Wexford House in Kingsport, Tennessee, is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook to join our care team. The role requires preparing meals, serving snacks, and ensuring food procedures align with policy.

Responsibilities

• Follow established food procedures and policies.
• Complete administrative forms and reports for Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing a timely food service production line.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks as needed.
• Maintain stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.

Dietary Cook And Aide Position Summary

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Dietary Cook And Aide Requirements
