Position Overview

Arbor Terrace Nursing and Rehab is hiring a dedicated Dietary Cook/Aide to join our dietary services team. This role is vital in ensuring residents receive quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and service under the Dietary Manager's guidance.
  • Set up and remove food trays according to residents' meal schedules.
  • Follow established food policies and procedures.
  • Perform cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.
  • Maintain sanitation standards in all food handling and kitchen operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Food Handlers Certification (or willingness to obtain with facility support).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive interaction with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health regulations.
  • Meet physical and sensory requirements (with or without accommodations).
