Job summary

Crescent Health & Rehab is hiring a full-time morning/evening Cook to prepare high-quality meals for our residents in Sunnyland, FL. You’ll follow menus, craft flavorful dishes, and tailor meals to dietary needs while maintaining clean, organized kitchen operations.

You will contribute to menu development and seasonal specials, collaborate with a caring team, and uphold strict safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef with strong culinary skills.
• Solid knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using expert techniques, following menus and recipes.
• Deliver meals that look great, taste amazing, and meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Innovate by helping develop new recipes, seasonal specials, and menu items.
• Keep the kitchen spotless, organized, and compliant with all safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, monitor food stock, and assist with ordering ingredients as needed.
• Ensure every meal complies with dietary restrictions and health regulations.
• Provide exceptional service with a professional and positive attitude.
