Job summary

Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg, PA seeks a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals per resident diets in a nursing setting. You will work under the Food Service Director and follow health, sanitation, and safety policies while contributing to a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

The role offers a Full-Time shift with flexibility, a starting wage of $15.50/hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of fundamentals of food safety and sanitation, and comply with health regulations.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.
• We can provide GED guidance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with resident diet specifications and safety standards under supervision.
• Follow community procedures and dietary policies in daily operations.
• Assist with maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen areas.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shift: 6:30a - 2:30p, 12:00p - 7:30p

  • Every Other Weekend

• Wage: Starting at $15.50 per hour

• Sign On Bonus: $1,000

  • Paid Out in Quarterly Installments Beginning After 90 Days of Employment
