Job summary

Waterside Health & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals that meet residents' prescribed diets while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. You will work under the Food Service Director to ensure quality and compliance in a skilled nursing setting.

The role is full-time with shifts starting early morning, focusing on timely meal service and teamwork within a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Must have a basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.
  • GED option available to help you earn your diploma.
  • Must meet state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diets and community procedures.
  • Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and regulations.
  • Work under supervision of the Food Service Director to maintain standards.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

    • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

  • Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
  • Full-Time Opportunity Available

  • Shifts Needed: 5:00a - 1:30p

  • Wage: $17.00 per hour
