The Blossoms is seeking a Cook to prepare and assist with meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while adhering to dietary restrictions for residents.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related setting is preferred. Ability to cook large quantities and maintain sanitation is essential.

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Cook prepares and assists with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while following specific dietary restrictions and provides alternatives for our residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Some experience in institutional cooking.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and hygienic methods.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Sincere desire to work with elders and others who have a limited capacity for self-care.
