AVIR Health Group is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare high-quality foods for residents, guests, and staff while ensuring meals meet regular and modified diet needs and comply with state health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a health care facility kitchen is preferred.
• Nursing home kitchen experience is preferred.
• Culinary/food service experience in health care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and modified diets for individual residents.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings.
• Taste test recipes and suggest changes to improve taste or nutrition.
• Prepare and cook food in batches while maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers assisting in meal preparation and service.

AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family!

We are searching for aDietary Cook that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards.
