Job summary

Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook to join our care team. This full-time role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining food procedures, and assisting with daily kitchen operations under the Dietary Manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow food procedures per established policies.
• Complete administrative forms/reports and submit to Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining food service production and meal timing.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks; prepare substitute meals as needed.
• Maintain stock levels of staple and non-staple items; assist in daily cleaning duties.
• Perform tasks assigned by Dietary Manager and VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Dietary Cook Position Summary

As a Dietary Cook at Laughlin Healthcare, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Dietary Cook Requirements
