Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to support our long-term care community in Georgia. You will prepare and serve meals that meet dietary guidelines and portion controls, while ensuring proper temperature and attractive presentation.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, temperature checks, and sanitation compliance. You will also manage kitchen equipment, inventory, and coordinate with residents, families and facility staff to deliver high-quality care and service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of institutional cooking experience, preferably in long-term care or hospital settings.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes, menus and production sheets; familiarity with food ordering and health regs.
• Strong communication to coordinate with team members while adhering to state health standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and portions; ensure proper temperature and presentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret recipes, menus, and production sheets, with familiarity in food ordering, purchasing, and health regulations.
• Communication & Compliance: Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and department heads while adhering to state health and safety standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
