Job summary

Envive Healthcare in Huntington, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare and portion meals for regular and therapeutic diets, following planned menus and production sheets, and ensuring freshness and proper temperatures for every resident.

You will work closely with teammates, onboard new staff, supervise servers in food preparation, garnishing and presentation, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen that supports quality care and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Dietary and Long Term/Healthcare a plus.

• Follows recipes and prepares food that corresponds to menu cycles prepared by the Registered Dietitian.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in batches to ensure freshens and proper temperatures.
• Assists with demonstrating, instructing and educating servers on preparations, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Supervises servers with food preparation, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment.
