AVIR at Dallas is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family. The role involves preparing high-quality foods for regular and modified diets for residents, guests, and employees, while adhering to health regulations and facility standards.

Walk-ins are welcome daily. The position offers competitive compensation, 401k with a match, company-paid holidays and PTO, and family-wide health insurance, among other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous office experience is preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience is preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets for residents' nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

AVIR at Dallas is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family!

We are searching for a Dietary Cook that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards.
