Job summary

Heritage Park Health Center by Harborview in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a dedicated Cook to support our residents in a faith-based, care-focused setting. You will prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders, while maintaining high standards of taste, appearance, and timeliness.

This position requires the ability to follow diet orders and menus, stand for long periods, and lift as needed in a bustling kitchen.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care dietary experience preferred.
• Able to follow verbal and written diet orders and menus.
• Must stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and orders.
• Communicate with the director of dietary services.
• Ensure meals are timely, accurate, and satisfying.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation protocols.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook

What You Will Do

• Accurately prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders

• Communicate effectively director of dietary services

• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure meals are timely, accurate, and satisfying

• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times

• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care dietary setting is preferred

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus

• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment
