NOW HIRING: Dietary Cook

Responsibilities of Dietary Cook:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu plans, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
• Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and served at the appropriate temperature and portion size.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage, handling, and cleaning procedures.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and other kitchen staff to plan menus, order supplies, and maintain inventory levels.
• Accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions as directed by healthcare providers and residents' care plans.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment and storage areas.
  
  
  

Qualifications of Dietary Cook:

• High School graduate and previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
