Kirkland Court Health and Rehabilitation Center in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents with dietary needs. This full-time role requires attention to food safety, quality presentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will assist with menu planning, ordering, and inventory, while maintaining a clean, organized environment and supporting the dietary team to deliver compassionate care to residents daily.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education or certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of cooking experience in healthcare or food service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Valid food handler's certification.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to meet high-quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety protocols
• Assist with menu planning, ordering, and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all meals are served efficiently and effectively
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary manager
