Vernon Health in Wisconsin is seeking a regular part-time Dietary Clerk to join our hospital's Food & Nutrition Services department. The position is 3-4 days per week, 5:45am to 1:45pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will assemble patient meal trays, portion foods, assist with cooking and baking, stock and clean, and serve as Bistro cashier when needed. Minimum one year in a cook or dietary role is preferred; ServSafe certification is welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a cook or dietary role.
• Holding a ServSafe certification is strongly preferred.

• Performs variety of required daily cleaning duties.

• Assembles patient meal trays and checks food trays for accuracy.
• Assists with preparation of appropriate quantities of aesthetically pleasing and nutritious foods for service to VMH patients, staff and visitors.
• Assists with portioning food items necessary for patient meals, patient nourishments, hospital cafeteria, and special functions including entrees, side items, soups, salads, and desserts.
• Assist with cooking and baking for patients and bistro
• Completes daily stocking and uses food techniques which conserve nutrients, flavor, and appearance.
• Performs variety of required daily cleaning duties
• Assist as Bistro cashier when needed
