Base pay range

$15.30/hr - $22.42/hr

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

JOB SUMMARY: The diet clerk transposes the diet prescription into the diet therapy cardex, generates age appropriate menus, follows the diet prescription as stated in the diet manual, adheres to the Nutritional Care Plan, visits patients at their bedside to assist them with menu selections, that are age appropriate. Assists with departmental record keeping, assists with departmental QA and CQI activities, generates accurate production sheets for the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:High School Diploma

Licensure/Registration/Certification: Not applicable

Work Experience: Some clerical experience recommended. Diet clerk experience recommended but will train if necessary.
