Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Rockford, IL seeks a Diet Clerk to provide a high-quality dining experience, meeting nutritional requirements and service expectations for those we serve.

This hourly role requires fluent English and a Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days for Illinois facilities; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred. The position supports daily food service operations and teamwork within the unit.

Expected pay for this position

is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Licensure/ Certifications: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for facilities in Illinois.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 6 months in food service and/or health care food service Other Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer operation experience Prior order processing system experience.
