Job Description

Monitors and coordinates the patient selective menu process, ensuring compliance with medical staff diet orders, food allergies and the approved Diet Manual. Navigates the automated diet office and Meditech software, entering patient‑specific data related to medical staff orders and supplement/tube feeding orders. Supervises food service and hostess staff, manages patient meal preparation and service, and ensures compliance with infection control standards for food safety and patient safety.

Education & Credentials

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Two (2) years of experience in health care food service, including therapeutic diets.
• Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively over the telephone and in person.
• Ability to cope with peak production and service times that require speed and concentration.
• Strong computer skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $16.00 – $20.63 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. Wage will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
