Children's of Alabama is looking for a full-time cook responsible for preparing meals for patients. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred experience, with a focus on food safety certifications to ensure the highest quality meal service.
Schedule: Full-time, Day/Evening shift from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday with alternating weekends.
Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: No experience required; however, a year of experience in a similar facility is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a steady and stable work history. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries: Must have a current food handler’s card as required by the Jefferson County Health Department.
