Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

To receive payment for meals, breaks, and special items sold in the cafeteria. To record and maintain accurate counts of menu items sold, number of employees served, and cash receipts. To operate computer cash register and demonstrate knowledge of procedures related to programming new items and price changes.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

Six months to one year experience cashing in a fast food line.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Knowledge of the use of the computer registers. Ability to be courteous and diplomatic in dealing with hospital employees and physicians.
