Job summary

Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Dietary Associate to join our patient-centered food service team. You would tentatively be scheduled for (3) 12-hour AM shifts per week and/or as needed to fill vacancies.

You will perform a variety of duties in food service, meal delivery, ware washing, and general cleaning according to established standards, with the goals of providing high quality food service and achieving a positive dietary image.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 1-3 years experience as a cook/restaurant worker in hospitality/food service setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moves throughout the facility and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver dietary services as assigned.
• Performs the manual and administrative responsibilities of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of patient diets and understands basic food service regulations.
• Works cooperatively with unit staff and ancillary departments.
• Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s values.
• Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction.
• Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient.
