Job summary

The Shores of Lake Phalen in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents and guests in the dining room, following established procedures. You will assist in drink and food preparation and help keep dining areas clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assist in drink and food preparation and perform clean-up, washing dishes and setting up/taking down dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in common-area refreshment centers.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards to meet governmental regulations.
• Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities to assure effective food service.

Culinary Service AssistantResponsibilities include:

• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

Qualifications:

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
